The revised syllabus aims to mold the students so as to give them practical Insights into different areas of Industry like Commerce, Accountancy, Taxation, Law, Management, etc. The course has been structured in such a way that it helps students to have a lead in the market. This course also aims at the all-around personality development of students by encouraging extra-curricular activities.

In accordance with the National Education Policy (NEP)-2020, the new structure will be implemented in LU and its affiliated colleges in Lucknow. Like the PG courses, UG courses will be multidisciplinary. The undergraduate course structure finalized by Lucknow University will make learning fun for students by providing them the opportunity to learn and acquire skills from a wide range of topics covering all aspects of life’s traditional subjects, inter-disciplinary research, and vocational training to learning music, arts, and social work. The course will have “Multiple Entry and Exit” options for students. Depending on the duration of the course studied a student will get a certificate, diploma, or a degree.

Eligibility Criteria for B.Com

Intermediate or equivalent examination in Commerce or Intermediate with Economics or Maths is one of the subjects of study. Candidate must secure a minimum of 40% of marks in Intermediate for Gen/OBC category & 33% of marks in Intermediate for SC/ST category.
